What have you done to make a pack-in-play more comfortable?

We have a Graco pack-in-play that we got as a handmedown.  While my son can tolerate it for a night or two (esp. when he's really tired), it's not a good fit for several nights of sleeping.  We tried a standard crib mattress inside the p-n-p but it did not fit snuggly around the edges so it felt unsafe.  Quilted sheets don't seem to have enough piling to make up the difference.  What have people done to make a p-n-p more comfortable?

Also, given that the p-n-p is meant for travel, we'd love something like an air mattress that does the job but can also be deflated and packing into a suitcase or backpack when not in use.  Thanks!

We got a fitted cover that a little bit of a cushion to it. But to be honest, I can't remember where we got it. But I looked on Amazon.com and found this cover. Based on the reviews, it seems to help.

    Good luck!

We just fold up a fluffy blanket and put it under the sheet. A knit cotton sheet has a bit more leeway to tuck something under. This means that the mattress does not fit into the corner things but it doesn't seem to matter. The mattress doens't move and the baby is much more comfortable/warm with the extra padding.
