My 1.5 year old son likes pacifiers but doesn't like to pick them up in his hands to put in his mouth.  If he sees one lying on the floor, he will get down on his hands and knees and pick it up in his mouth.  If we try to hand him one, he will bend over to take it in his mouth.  It's really cute.
