So, it's apparently August already! What's on your to-do list for the first day of school? For us, it's something like:

• start sliding bedtime / wake-times earlier
• get school emergency kits together - mylar blanket, snacks, contact info, a photo & note from us
• make sure we have a usable backpack/lunchbag
• haircuts
• get our FUN out - daytrips, camping, beach, amusement parks - leave no stone yet unturned!
• do preschoolers need school supplies? (other than sunscreen? ;)
