Preschools near Mountain View
We are starting to look for a pre-K program for my daughter for next year. I would love to hear if anyone in the neighborhood has recommendations for preschools in Mountain View, CA. We are particularly interested in Montessori programs. Please let me know if you have had good or bad experience with any local preschools. Thank you!

It's not Montessori, but my wife and I live in Mountain View, and both of our children attend CPSC, The Children's Pre-School Center, on Middlefield in Palo Alto. (http://cpsccares.org/) I recommend it highly, and would be happy to provide details. It's on the expensive side, but it's NAEYC credentialed and staffed by very caring people. I'd be happy to answer any questions about it. We've been there for nearly three years now.
Alana, sorry I missed your comment before. You can reach me at estephen at tivo.com.

Our kids went for a short time to Heads Up in Palo Alto (http://www.headsup.org/)
It's a full-time only Montessori that goes all the way to middle school. The teachers are great and the kids very friendly. I wholly recommend it.
Many preschools have adopted aspects of Montessori, you may want to try some non-Montessori schools too.

Our children are at the T'enna Preschool at the OFJCC in Palo Alto. It's not Montessori, but borrows from the play-based follow-the-child principles of Montessori and Reggio Emilia and has - I understand - an outstanding Young 5s program. (Not sure if that's "Pre-K" or not!) We're very happy with the 18 month old - 3 year old classes and the quality (and low turnover rate) of the teaching staff is awesome.

Hi Stephen, I'd love some more information on CPSC. Can I send u a note to your work email? Alana
