What to give to infant daycare teachers for Christmas?

Our 7-month old goes to a daycare full time and I'm trying to figure out who we should give gifts to and what.

Question Part 1) Who should I include?

She has three teachers in her room (one full time and two part time) and one of other infant room teachers is always there when I pick her up. There is a regular floater in the morning (sometimes). There are 3-4 staffs at the daycare as well. Who should I give a gift to? Just three teachers in her room? Should I include the teacher from the other room and/or the regular floater since it could be bit awkward if I give gifts to other teachers but exclude some? How about the staffs?

Question Part 2) What should I give?

For the regular teachers, I was thinking about having a small box of homemade cookies (probably half dozen) plus a gift card from somewhere (target? starbucks? any suggestion?) but couldn't figure out the amount to put on the card. I don't want to be too cheap, but things add up fast.

Also, depending on the answer for the Q1, what should I give to the "others"?

I'm new to this and any advice/suggestion would be appreciated!

I'm no expert, but I'd only consider the official teachers in the room, and maybe the one other who you see a lot. If you go above that, I'd think you might need to bring something for everyone you've ever had a good experience with :)

Cookies sound like a wonderful gift!

As for amounts on gift cards, our school discourages monetary gifts somewhat, and caps the values at $50 per teacher. The parents' council gives gifts on behalf of the parents to every teacher, and in our area with some wide-ranging wealth, I think the policy is to make sure there's not a great inequality in gifts. I hope our teachers are sufficiently paid and gifted, we certainly appreciate them!

I'd think once you've gone to the lengths of cookies or something personal / created, the gift card could really be for a token amount or skipped entirely. At least at our school...

I second something like cookies or chocolates for the whole "office" for all the staffs, and then something else a bit more to the official teachers. It's the thought that counts! So we did a card and something small for 5 teachers.
