How can we get rid of our son's "cheese tooth"?
Everyone knows what a "sweet tooth" is, but I'll have to say that our 2.75yr old son has a "cheese tooth". If there's cheese involved, then he'll eat it, and if not, then he won't.
His favorite meals are a grilled cheese sandwich, a quesodilla, or pasta with cheese (where he picks off the cheese and leaves the pasta).
It seems to me that if there's cheese on the table (think: taco night, spaghetti), then he pretty much won't eat the main part of the meal and just wants cheeese. We'd like to teach him moderation! What should we do?

I say let moderation come later. Keep offering healthy foods, and maybe use it bribe him. Take one bite of spaghetti, and then you can have more cheese. We didn't think our 18 month old could handle that type of reasoning - but we found out when the prize was big enough (ice cream) that he was a master of manipulation. Your 2.5 year old is big enough to understand simple "if... then..." reasoning.
