Siblings bathing together?

How long can siblings bathe together for?  Right now our 1 year old and 3 1/2 year old have bathtime together.  They both love it and it streamlines things for us parents.  But for how long can this go on?  Oh, the biggest factor is that one is a girl and the other is a boy.

    A strange question... you seem to have an idea that something bad will happen at some point, but you are not saying what. That seeing your siblings naked is somehow bad or traumatizing? Or socially unacceptable? I would suggest that when it bothers you, you should stop it. Or you can wait for your kids to say they don't want to take baths together (but my guess is you'll have to wait a long while for that).

    How is this a strange question?  It seems to be a very common question on different parenting sites.

    Anyways, as I read on this site, as the kids get older, they are "likely to become more private about their bodies and they will probably let you know that they are not comfortable bathing together anymore."

    Apologies for calling the question strange. Different cultures view the topic of family nudity differently, and it was improper to judge the question. My first reaction was "30-45 minutes is probably a good time limit for anyone's bath, siblings or not" - which was not the question asked. I still think it's fine to let the children be the judge of that, and err on the side of permissive.

    My two are just 14 months(a boy and girl) apart and loved bathing together- It actually stopped when the "space" in the tub became limited. They discovered that solo baths allowed for more space to play. They also discovered showers and switched it up that way. I think that they really completely stopped bathing together when they were 4 and 5. Now that they are 8 and 9 it is interesting to see how modest my 8 year old daughter is compared to her 9 year old brother. He would walk around in the buff if he was allowed to !
